The best time to travel to Botswana for good game viewing and
pleasant weather is between May and September. This is the cool, dry
season, when wildlife congregates at waterholes and animals are visible
in great numbers. Daytime temperatures average at a warm 77ºF (25ºC),
although at night it can become very cold and frosty. From October to
April the weather is generally very hot with lots of rain.
