North Korea's Slight of Hand
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:16pm
North Korea for many today is a country that is not known very well.
Even among many in the Humanitarian field, getting help to people in
this distant country is difficult. We know so little about it, yet we
know it is a dangerous country. How do we know this? For one, many
politicians have said it. The next thing we must do is ask ourselves do
we believe them? After all if they are a dangerous country, a missle
heading towards Alaska is not a very long way to travel.

God Has Not Cast Away Israel, Why I Support Israel
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:05pm
Romans tells us plainly God has not cast away Israel. This is speaking plainly of the nation of Israel, not spiritual Israel.
Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For
I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of
Benjamin.
2 a God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

Walking After Our Own Devices
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:05pm
Jeremiah 18:12 And they said, there is no hope: but we will walk after
our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil
heart.
At what time will a nation of people awaken to the truth? When will it
be that people gain wisdom? For Israel of old, wisdom came after they
were sent into captivity for their rebellion against the Lord. I ask
you, when will America heed wisdom? When will we awaken?

American Sleeping Giant Awakes - But is too Heavy to walk on Islamic Jihadist Eggshells
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:04pm
One of America’s largest Christian broadcasters, Trinity Broadcasting
Network has decided to drop one of its shows because it does not want
to agitate Muslim Jihadist. Of course they say it is because they don’t
want to offend Muslims in general and that because they are beginning
to broadcast into Arab countries. Nevertheless the dye is cast and with
a brand of political correctness of their own making they plan to
bounce the long running show created by the late Zola Levitt. The last
show is set to air on August 28, 2006. Zola Levitt’s ministry will be
carried on by his son Mark on the internet according to the ministry’s
newsletter.

Challenge from a Right Wing Nut Job
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:04pm
Let's try something new shall we? I got this idea after spending a
weekend with my wife's family. The Andersons are great group of folks
who I enjoy spending time with, however, they are about as politically
divided a family as I have ever seen. This is not just your standard
"this is my view, this is your view lets have a drink and discuss it"
type of family. Politics are a sport and are argued as vehemently as
two teams fighting like the score is tied with 30 seconds to go in the
championship game. Based on my wife's request, I try to stay out of the
circle of engagement, but every now and then I am drawn into an
argument. My party affiliation is no secret as I am a registered
independent, but my viewpoints are anything but neutral. I am, as my
brother-in-law has labeled me, "a right-wing-nut-job". I am devoutly
conservative with my ideals and hence am a target for the
"left-wing-kooks". More times than not, I am challenged to defend the
actions of my party affiliations or my ideologies. This has grown
tiresome, as my arguments are often dismissed by the those who do not
like to hear what I have say or are interrupted prior to my
conclusions, so I am going to make an offer of unusual stature.

The Globalization of Our Port Security
Sunday, 07.01.2007, 03:04pm
We have seen our President resolute before. That is Bush standing
firmly in one position and not moving one bit. It is this “Standing
firm†that was brought to a lull when the President said there would be
delay in the UAE homeland port deal. I have watched the commentators on
both sides bringing up the solutions to the problem. In all this, I
have found myself agreeing with some like Hillary Clinton who was
“firmly against foreign ownership of our portsâ€. I can also see the
relevance of not making a solid ally like the UAE mad. After all they
are our friends, are they not?
